Activate / Inactivate Entry
     The Activate / Inactivate program is used to change a member's status from active to inactive or from inactive to active. Activating a member in this program should only be used when canceling the inactive status. Otherwise, the individual should be processed through the Application Entry program. If an inactive status is canceled, the appropriate update will be sent to the International. Entry of a new inactive status will also create a record for reporting to the International. Certain inactive status entries such as Deceased (D) and Never Affiliated (R) must be entered using this program. A member can be selected using the member number, social security number, name, or by performing an incremental name search. The user must click on the Change Status button on this form and then enter or select the new status and enter the effective date for this new status. The process is completed by clicking on the Save button on the tool bar.
